"Single Malt Tsunuki PEATED" is a carefully selected vatting of the first year peated malt malt from Mars Tsunuki Distillery, aged in bourbon barrels. It has a soft and pleasant smoky flavor that can be used with malt, and is a whiskey that deeply reflects the natural environment of Tsunuki. Only 14,830 bottles will be released.

scent
Upon opening, sweet vanilla and fruity aromas emerge, along with the pleasant aroma of bourbon barrels. Behind that is a subtle but subtle smoky scent from the peat, creating an aroma that is one step ahead.

Taste
On the palate, you can feel the rich longing reminiscent of honey and vanilla. It is a characteristic, and the presence of peat slowly becomes more pronounced in the lingering notes.

Remaining rhyme
The smoky yet soft aftertaste lingers for a long time, leaving a pleasant feeling in your mouth until the very end. It has a moist finish that evokes the atmosphere of Kagoshima.

Mars Tsunuki Distillery
Located in the southwest of the Satsuma Peninsula, Tsunuki is blessed with a natural environment in a basin and is blessed with high-quality spring water from the Kuratayama mountain range, making it a region that continues to make traditional sake. Boasting a history of over 100 years as a place of culture, Tsunuki has inherited the culture of making shochu using sweet potatoes, a specialty of Satsuma, and is currently trying its hand at making whiskey. In addition, the natural environments of Kagoshima and Nagano are in dialogue with the diverse personalities of the raw liquors.
