Dassai, made by Asahi Shuzo in Yamaguchi Prefecture, is made using Yamada Nishiki, the famous king of sake rice. They have a strong commitment to only making Dassai, and only Junmai Daiginjo sake, without making any other brands.
Dassai has a fruity, easy-to-drink taste, and is a famous sake that has earned high praise not only in Japan but also overseas.
