Ardbeg Uigadal is a single malt whisky produced at the Ardbeg distillery on the island of Islay. This whisky is a perfect blend of Ardbeg's distinctive smokiness and the sweetness of traditional sherry casks.

Production process

Ardbeg Uigadal is made from a blend of whiskeys aged in different types of casks, specifically bourbon casks for a peaty flavour, and sherry casks for a richer flavour, resulting in a complex and well-balanced flavour.

scent

The smoky peat aroma is at the forefront, but is balanced with the sweetness of raisins and dark chocolate, as well as ripe fruit and spice from the sherry casks.

taste

Along with the powerful peat smoke, the rich sweetness of dark fruits, chocolate and raisins spreads. The mouthfeel is oily and thick, and the complex flavor spreads throughout the mouth.

Aftertaste

The long-lasting smoky aftertaste is intertwined with the longing and spiciness from the sherry casks, leaving a pleasant warmth.
