Ardbeg Anamorphic is a special single malt whisky born from the creative idea of ​​Dr. Bill Ramsden, Chief Distiller and Producer. This whisky was born from a bold experiment to explore the flavor of cask char. After removing the cask head from Ardbeg's traditional bourbon barrel, the barrel was deeply carved to expose more wood, and then intensely charred, called "high mocha". This filled the Ardbeg spirit, creating a truly "4D" flavor that moves between four flavor dimensions: sweet, smoky, herbal, and spicy.

In addition to the aroma of earth and dust, there is a strange aroma reminiscent of a faint biscuit. It has a uniqueness that makes it seem as if it came from a parallel world, with a strong earthy and tar aroma, but balanced by a smooth vanilla. When water is added, the aroma of countless herbs and flowers spreads, fusing the aromas of smoked vetiver root, aniseed, fennel, chrysanthemum, jasmine, etc.

Taste

The palate is warm, peppery, and then bursts with hot, spicy flavours, including chili-infused chocolate, bitter-sweet mocha briarwood, birch tar, ground black pepper and smoked artichoke.

Aftertaste

The finish is very rich and smoky, with increasingly earthy and tarry notes, and an incredibly long aftertaste with notes of charcoal, bitter almonds and molasses that lingers in the mouth for an unforgettable finish.

The packaging design is also impressive, with a mysterious illustration depicting the movement between four flavor dimensions. Characters of the Ardbeg distillery members, Dr. Bill, Director Colin, and Chairman Jackie are also incorporated into the design, making it fun and enhancing the individuality of the whiskey.
