This is a limited edition teaspoon malt from the "Battle Hill" series by Duncan Taylor, a long-established independent bottler with more than 1938 history. This series is named after the historic site of Battle Hill in Scotland and uses only carefully selected malt and grain whiskeys. It is fully aged for 13 years in sherry casks, allowing you to fully enjoy the rich and sweet characteristics of the sherry casks.

The first thing you'll notice is the rich sweetness of dried fruits and raisins, followed by layers of deep aromas of caramel, toffee and dark chocolate. Over time, you'll notice subtle spicy accents of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Rich and full-bodied on the palate. Ripe fruit flavors like plum and fig are prominent, and the sweetness from the sherry casks extends to the aftertaste. Harmonious. For now, the modest acidity and pleasant spices tighten the flavor.
