Based on Nagahama Distillery's philosophy of "one brew, one barrel," this single cask whiskey is finished in carefully selected bourbon casks. The mash bill is a blend of 77% whiskey malt and 23% rye, and a unique method is used in which the ingredients are blended and distilled at the pre-saccharification stage. The sweetness of the malt and the spiciness of the rye are perfectly balanced, and since it is bottled at cask strength, you can enjoy the rich flavor of the original whiskey. Only 321 bottles are produced, making this a very special one.

scent

This lightly peated style has a light gold appearance and a hint of peat. The soft malt aroma floats like silk, and the wood flavor from the bourbon barrels spreads. In addition to the sweetness of vanilla beans and honey, the refreshing coolness of peppermint brings a refreshing feeling, and the dry, herbal aroma tightens the whole.

Taste

The attack is full of malt sweetness, followed by a gradual increase in spicy flavors such as black pepper and turmeric. The aftertaste is light and dry, with a long, bitter, yet deep finish.
