Tarlant family

The Tarlant family began growing grapes in 1687, and were among the first to begin bottling their own wines in 1928. The domaine has been family-run without interruption to this day, and is renowned as a pioneer of récoltant-manipulant. Located on a plateau in the village of Ouy, about 14km west of Epernay along the Marne River, the domaine owns 14 hectares of vineyards. These vineyards are divided into 55 plots across four villages in the Vallée de la Marne. Different vinification methods are used for each soil and variety, resulting in wines that reflect the Tarlant family's outstanding skills and dedication.
