Yamazaki is a whiskey produced by Japan's Suntory, founded in 1923 as Japan's first malt whiskey distillery. The Yamazaki brand is known for its rich flavor and high quality, and has earned a high reputation both at home and abroad.

2. Peated Malt: Peated malt whisky is characterized by its unique smoky aroma and flavor, which is achieved by using peat as fuel to dry the malt. Yamazaki does not normally use peated malt, so this is a special version.

3. Spanish Oak: Spanish oak casks are typically used for sherry casks and impart rich, fruity flavours to whiskey, especially notes of dark fruit, chocolate and spice.

4. Tasting notes (predictions):

• Nose: Along with the smoky aroma of peat, you will notice rich fruit (raisins, dried fruit), vanilla and caramel aromas from the Spanish oak.
• Palate: Smokiness fills the mouth, with a well-balanced flavor of dried fruit, chocolate, and spices (cinnamon, nutmeg). The influence of oak gives it a deep, rich flavor.
• Finish: The smoky flavor and fruity sweetness linger for a long time, allowing you to enjoy a complex aftertaste.

5. Recommended Drinking Method: This special whiskey can be enjoyed with its complex flavor by drinking it neat or with a little water. We also recommend drinking it at room temperature, not chilled, to bring out the flavor of the whiskey.
