Port Charlotte is a brand of single malt whiskey produced by the Bruichladdich Distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. Islay is known for its smoky, peaty whiskey, and Port Charlotte follows in that tradition.

"A valinch is a whiskey that is taken directly from the barrel at the distillery and is usually a limited release, which emphasises its special flavour and rarity.
