About Nagahama Distillery

Nagahama Distillery is an emerging craft whiskey distillery located in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, founded in 2016. Aiming to produce high-quality whiskey on a small scale, it has attracted attention both in Japan and overseas in a short period of time.

1. scent :

   • A well-balanced blend of floral, citrus fruit, vanilla and spice notes.

2. Taste :

   • A harmonious blend of fruity sweetness, honey, vanilla, spice and oak flavors. Light and easy to drink, with complex flavors.

3. Aftertaste :

   • It has a medium length, fruity and sweet finish with hints of spice and oak.

4. Alcohol content :

   • It is usually bottled at around 45% alcohol by volume.

5. Aging :

   • It is aged in specially selected bourbon and sherry casks, and is a unique blend created with input from bartenders.

6. Limited Edition :

   • The Bartender's Badge Sanpyoko is released in limited quantities in certain years, making it a highly valuable collector's item.
