Meursault Comtes Lafon 2006 is a high quality white wine from the village of Meursault in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France. The wine is produced by the Domaine des Comtes Lafon, known in particular for their Chardonnay wines. Lafon is one of the most highly regarded producers of Meursault white wines, producing some of the highest quality.

Characteristics and taste

• Grape variety : 100% Chardonnay
• Aging : Aged in new and used oak barrels, the length of aging and choice of barrels varies depending on the vintage, but generally ranges from 12 to 18 months.
• Taste : The 2006 Meursault Comtes Lafon offers flavors of ripe apple, pear and citrus with mineral and vanilla notes, and the complexity of hazelnut and toast that develops with age.
• Texture : Creamy and rounded on the palate, with firm acidity and a long finish.

How to enjoy
