Glenfarclas 17 Year Old is a hot product from the prestigious Glenfarclas Distillery, a renowned single malt whisky producer. Since its founding in 1826, the distillery has maintained traditional methods and is an independent, family-run business, specializing in sherry cask aging.

Manufacturing Process

Glencrasfer 17 Year is slowly aged in selected Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a whisky with a rich, traditional flavor. Made from traditional Scottish two-row barley and spring water from Ben Rynnes, a mountain rich in soft water. Influenced by sherry casks, this whisky is characterized by its rich flavor and complex aroma.

Tasting notes

• Nose : Sweet aromas of dried fruits, especially raisins and plums, with hints of sherry, toffee and spices. Over time, warm notes of vanilla and cinnamon emerge and enhance the appearance.

• Palate : The first impression is a rich fruitcake-like sweetness from the sherry casks, followed by toffee, dark chocolate and a hint of smoke, creating a layered flavour that spreads throughout the mouth.

• Finish : A long, lingering finish strongly influenced by sherry casks, with a slightly dry, pleasantly spicy aftertaste.

Glencraspher 17 Year Old is prized among whiskey lovers for its complex, multi-layered flavours, making it the perfect drink to savour slowly over time.
