Armand de Brignac's first cuvée, Gold, released in 2006, is a special champagne that symbolizes the brand. It is a traditional blend of three vintages, and is a culmination of the Cattier family's grape growing and brewing techniques that have been passed down for over 250 years, while maintaining the traditions of the house and offering fresh fruitiness and complex classics.

Aging

• Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels

Tasting notes

It starts with notes of sugary citrus and orange blossom, followed by nuances of peach, apricot and red berries. In the mouth, you can feel the smoothness of cherry, tropical fruit, lemon, vanilla and honey, and finally a subtle toasty aroma from French maceration oak and a soft creamy finish.

With meals

It is best enjoyed as an aperitif, but also goes well with seared scallops, roasted quail, white fish, etc. The elegance of Champagne goes well with food.
