Vérité is a premium winery located in Sonoma County, California, that produces wines that combine French-style winemaking with California terroir. Vérité's wines are Bordeaux-style red wines, specifically known for three categories: La Joie, La Muse, and Le Désir.

"La Jo" is a wine inspired by the Pessac-Léognan style of Bordeaux, specifically Cabernet Sauvignon-based.

Features of Vérité La Joie 2011 :

• Colour : deep ruby, sometimes with slight purple hues.

• Aroma : Rich and complex aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, toffee, leather and tobacco.

• : Full-bodied with gentle tannins and well-balanced acidity, the palate is deep, with black fruit flavors, spices and vanilla nuances from the oak .

• Finish : Long, rich and persistent.

This wine has a good structure and ageing potential, and although it is said to become more complex with further aging, it has plenty of potential. When drinking, it is a good idea to decant and expose it to oxygen to release the flavors.
