Nikka The Grain 2023 is a special bottling that allows you to enjoy a refreshing and fragrant grain whiskey, and has been released as the third installment of Nikka Whisky's "NIKKA DISCOVERY Series." Despite its 48% alcohol content, the harmonious flavor of rye, toasted grains, and sweetness from corn highlights the diversity of grain whiskey. This is a product that Nikka, which will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2024, has explored new possibilities for whiskey.

Aroma : The first thing you notice when you open the bottle is a fresh aroma reminiscent of marmalade and cider. This is followed by a complex blend of woody, vanilla-like sweetness and the savory aroma of grains reminiscent of toast and cookies, creating a warm flavor.

Taste : When you put it in your mouth, you will notice a soft cinnamon-like spice, and the sweetness of the corn will envelop the whole thing. In addition, the refreshing and rich flavor of the rye will spread throughout your mouth, giving you a mellow yet deep mouthfeel.

About the NIKKA DISCOVERY series
The "NIKKA DISCOVERY Series", which has been launched since 2021, is a series that focuses on the rich diversity of raw liquors owned by Nikka Whisky and the ingenuity of the manufacturing process. This work, "The Grain 2023", commemorates the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the cafe-type continuous still, which was introduced in 1963, and uses raw liquors distilled at the Nishinomiya Plant, Miyagikyo Distillery, Moji Plant, and Satsuma Tsukasa Distillery. The package features a checkered pattern, expressing the diverse flavors that harmonize the raw liquors from the four locations.
