1. The Process : As its name suggests, Double Wood is aged in two types of barrels: first in traditional American oak bourbon barrels for 12 years, followed by an additional period in sherry oak barrels, a process that develops depth and complexity of flavour.

2. Taste :

   • Aroma : Rich fruit, nut and sweet sherry aromas.
   • Taste : Sweet at first, with vanilla, cinnamon spice, and hints of fruit cake and dried fruit from the sherry casks.
   • Finish : Long and sustained, slow with subtle spices lingering as lingering rhymes.
