"Kakubin" is a long-selling whiskey brand that has been loved by generations. "Shirokaku" was born from the desire to preserve that tradition while also creating a flavor that goes well with food.

A blend of Hakushu hogshead cask malt and light aged grain malt, this whisky has a crisp, dry taste.

In order to preserve the taste, our blenders use a variety of raw liquors to create a complex and precise whiskey, while retaining the sweet, gorgeous aroma that comes from aging.
Kakubin is also blended with the expectation that it will be mixed with soda, and the fact that Kakubin has been at the center of highball popularity in recent years is largely due to this blend.
