Tasting notes :

The 2006 Rindo is a full-bodied red wine that reflects the rich terroir of Napa Valley, with a beautiful balance of fruit and complexity. It has aromas of black fruits such as black currant and black cherry, as well as tobacco, spices, and a hint of vanilla from the oak. The mouthfeel is smooth and the tannins are well-rounded due to aging. In addition to the concentrated fruit flavors, the finish is deepened by nuances of cocoa and cigar box. It has a balanced acidity and a long, lingering finish.

Aging :

It is aged in French oak barrels, and the spice and toasty aromas from approximately 20 months of barrel aging add complexity to the wine.

Food Pairing :

• Grilled red meats (especially beef steaks and racks of lamb)
• Beef stew and meat dishes using balsamic vinegar
• Matured hard cheese (Comte or Pecorino)
• Risotto and pasta with truffles

Serving temperature :

We recommend serving it at 16-18°C. In particular, decanting it for about an hour before drinking will bring out the aroma and flavor even more.

The 2006 Rindo is Kenzo Estate's second vintage and is a perfect expression of Napa Valley's richness and sophistication.
