Ardbeg Hypernova is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky released by the Ardbeg distillery, located on the Scottish island of Islay and especially beyond, known for its peaty aromas and complex flavours.

Hypernova is known for being one of the Ardbegs with a particularly high peat content. The peat content is an indicator of the strength of the whiskey's peaty aroma and smoky flavor, and Hypernova is much higher than regular Ardbeg products. This whiskey is characterized by a rich flavor, including notes of vanilla, toffee, spices and salt, along with an even stronger peat aroma.

Ardbeg regularly releases limited edition whiskies and Hypernova is one of the more notable of these, which has received critical acclaim.
