One Hundred Years of Solitude

The authentic barley shochu "Hyakunen no Kodoku" is made by a long-established brewery founded in 1885.
It has attracted many fans and is also known as a premium shochu.
Unlike typical shochu brewing, Hyakunen no Kodoku is aged for long periods after distillation in white oak barrels used to age whiskey, resulting in an elegant barley shochu that has the aroma of barley typical of shochu, as well as the aged aroma of oak and cigars.
