Hibiki 17 Year Old was introduced in 1989 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Suntory's founding.

The raw liquor used is 30 carefully selected types of malt aged at Suntory for over 17 years, which are blended and aged with mature grain liquor also aged for over 17 years.

It is characterized by the fact that it takes a long and careful period of post-aging, resulting in a more luxurious flavor than regular Hibiki.

It has won gold medals in competitions around the world, including the gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge held nationwide, and is renowned as a premium whiskey of the highest quality.
