La Forge is a wine made from the exceptional vineyards of Domaine Virmajou in the Corbières-Boutenac region of Languedoc, France. The vineyard is located in the historic homeland of the Gérard Bertrand family and boasts the Boutenac appellation, a 1er Growth in the Corbières region. Approved by Gérard Bertrand's father, this elegant wine is a blend of Syrah and Carignan that beautifully expresses its rich aromas and fruitiness.

This wine has a ripe cherry color and a powerful aroma of toast, spice and clove. The rich aromas of Syrah and the rich fruitiness of Carignan are well balanced and attractive.

Taste
The rich, fruity flavor spreads in the mouth, giving it a sweetness reminiscent of red fruit jam. The tannins are very gentle, and the lingering lingering spices are long.

Remaining rhyme
The spicy aftertaste lingers for a long time, giving a sense of complexity and time.
